Helena Winkelman,

The Recital at the Burghof Lörrach in collaboration with movement - artists Neil Seligman and Stephen Morallee went very well. Combining Light and sound technology with the works of some great composers and an intense collaboration of us three performers created quite a unique mix that just asks to be performed elswhere. Ideas?Otherwise I am working nonstop on extravagancia - the chamber Opera on a play by Rafael Spregelburd - a phantastic Argentinian playwright. It is going to be premiered at the teatro Colon Buenos Aires (together with Satanica - another Spregelburd text which I will use for the second half of the evening) in October. In January 2011 it will come to the Gare du Nord Basel...so watch out. Cecilia Arellano (Mezzosoprano) and Robert Koller (Bassbariton) will sing the horrendously difficult Solos - the Ensemble Phoenix and its leader Jürg Henneberger will be taking charge of the rest of the score.
